THE EMPIRICAL CHURCH

EMPIRICALISM :   The belief that in order to seek and study and find truth, we as humans should make access to all scriptures and all the sciences available for consideration, and we should approach this study with a very reasonable and rational open mind.  Therefore it is in brotherhood and cooperative understanding that EMPIRICALISM unifies all world religions under the umbrella of science by studing them all in their pure forms, and embracing the empirical evidence and universal laws and common themes in theory and of the many religions so that we find it possible to form one common complete world religious understanding which is ever evolving with scientific knowledge and therefore has the potential to last the next 10 billion years as mankind sets about colonizing the heavens.

EMPIRICALISM :   can be adopted as an approach by all world religions,(individual religious buildings and meeting places)  in how they deal with the study and examination of their one religion in relation to all religions. Such that while this website lists this organization as the EMPIRICAL CHURCH, it is also, the EMPIRICAL MOSQUE, the EMPIRICAL TEMPLE, the EMPIRICAL SYNAGOGUE, or EMPIRICAL RELIGIOUS CENTER... or potentially anything else with the desciptive term EMPIRICAL designating it as following the general 27 priniciples of operation listed below.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EMPIRICALISM  STRUCTURE

First :   None of the beliefs of the church are fixed. I.E. the beliefs of the church are forever dependent on the abundant evidence from the sciences, and as such, will be ever evolving with the advancement and development of scientific knowledge. However, as founding principles on which to base our efforts, we take all theories and religions as being the basic forms for proposals, which we as church members may consider in detail.

Second :   Truth, and what a person chooses to believe in, as a whole or in part, is always a decision for the individual to make personally, and it is not the duty of the church to force or make assertive efforts to make people believe in anything other than a universal creator. (God / Allah / Elohim are not names, but terms used to describe that which has no name we as humans can speak, and when asked by Moses, God only answered, ...            I AM, THAT I AM,.....      which is of course not a name.)

Third :   It is the duty of any local church to make available for study all of the evidence as found by the sciences, and all the theoretical proposals developed to explain for all of it, as well as making available all forms of scripture, without bias, and over interpretation.

Fourth :   There must be a standing rule against being fanatical in any way. For if an individual is incapable of calmly arguing and discussing the evidence and scripture in an open forum, where any number of opposing views may be discussed, then eventually fights and hurt feeling will develop, and such negative behavior benefits no one.

Fifth :   People who chose to join this church do so with the understanding that they need not give up on any specific faith they may already have, as it is the goal of the church to strengthen ones faith in God with evidence and science.   However if anyone chooses to promote their specific faith, they must accept having it challenged in open debate in church.

Sixth :   It is the serious daily effort of the church to provide a limited laboratory for science and research, which the individual members of individuals churches may seek to pursue. All in the effort to develop our knowledge and advance our skills and technology, for in doing so we not only increase our understanding of God's creation, but increase our human potential to manipulate our environment and improve our daily lives.

Seventh :   The church is fundamentally founded on one belief that should be acceptable to people of all faiths and cultures. “Where there is charity and love, God is there!”
Such that it should be the daily effort of all humanity to, by their will and effort commit acts of charity and love whenever possible, for in doing so we increase the level of good and joy and prosperity in our world, and so it can be imagined that the level of God's presence is directly increased and is therefore directly a function of our will to be Godly.

Eighth :   The day to day operations and efforts of focused worship and study must be divided into the seven days of the week. Where Islam may be studied and practiced on Friday, Judaism on Saturday, and Christianity on Sunday, with Metaphysics on Monday, and Hinduism on Tuesday, Buddhism on Wednesday, and perhaps Taoism on Thursday.  The exact nature of each day and hour of each days studies would depend on denominational variations between groups who may seek to use the same church spaces.
However, the comparative study of the sciences and efforts in research are to be incorporated 7 days a week, and 24 hours a day.

Ninth :    The effort to interpret and consider the many varied scriptures will and must always be weighted and considered against the evidence from the EMPIRICAL sciences, and it's proposals. With the understanding that our science based interpretation of the evidence may in fact be flawed or wrong.

Tenth :    The study of the sciences and scriptures must always be from the oldest to the newest,  as when we endeavor to study scripture it is only reasonable that we approach all the abundant scripture in the same pattern in which it was written.    From oldest to newest, with the understanding that generally speaking the newer was inspired by the older and usually contains references to ideas, ideals, and concepts derived from the older.

Eleventh :    In the daily study of scriptures, it is only logical that we take notes and make summaries, verse by verse, chapter by chapter, where by we seek to see patterns in the discussion, and can thus be sure of our proposed interpretations.  It is thus the duty of those who run the daily church efforts to make these notes and summaries, which shall be critically considered by members who come to listen, and argue.

Twelfth:   The church is focused on areas of effort, namely building churches and communal housing and food systems for recruited homeless persons under the conditions that such downtrodden persons turn to God, and so have faith in themselves as one of God's children.   A faith, which tells each of us that we, as God's children, are capable of being all that we can imagine we can be.

Thirteen :    The laboratory efforts are to be taken in the most serious of manners, as the potential for danger and accidental stupidity is possible. Therefore, only limited members of sound mind shall be given access to any local church laboratory, at the local church leaders discretion.

Fourteen :   Each of the seven days, is divided into 24 hours of use, where each religious denomination may have equal use time, such that 1/2 hour Sermons are given by Church leaders who will lecture on notes and summaries made, followed by 1/2 hour open forums of discussion held on the desired topic or form of scripture and or faith to be peacefully and calmly organized by the church leaders, where by any member who wishes to speak shall and must be granted a one minute interval to speak as needed, as a universal time limit to allow for abundant arguments.

Fifteen :    As the resources and manpower are available another church area of effort will be organized as adult schools, and as rehabilitation programs, available to all adult people who would enjoy and make use of a supplementary education in science and the pursuit of serious research.  Or who are in need of serious rehabilitation or training.

Sixteen :    Individuals who might join the brotherhood area of the church, as someone in need, may in some cases be given employment directly from the church, as commissioned solicitors or salesmen of the many items and booklets developed, and when possible as farmers and laborers in the many humanitarian and communal efforts which the church may pursue, as a whole, or in part as individual groups and persons.      However, volunteerism is one with the working concepts of a brotherhood of the church, where in, the rewards come from our accomplishments, not personal profits. To this end and to prevent corruption and excess loss of productive value, all leadership personal who are directly employed by the Church, it's Empirical Order, or any of it's Churches, Communes, monestaries or any sub-organization whatsoever, must all be limited to their nations minimum wage, salaried at 40 hours a week, without exception, and 50% of this minimum wage salary must be donated back to the Empirical Church as thanks for it's love and long term compassion.

Seventeen :    It is the duty of the church leaders to develop further works for publication, being ideally, focused analysis of the many varied scriptures in relation to the abundant evidence of the sciences.

Eighteen :    No chemistry laboratory experiments are to be permitted without the strict supervision of church leaders and the advice of professional chemists, as chemistry is not something to just play around with.

Nineteen :    Every church must strive to establish the most comprehensive library possible for use as reference material for it's branch members, in their daily pursuit of understanding nature and God's creation, and so science.
This library should be open to all, yet books should never be checked out.

Twenty :  To facilitate the survival of any local church, all people who would enter the doors to make use of the church and forums, should donate some small sum per visit.   Children and the poor being of course exempt.

Twenty one :   While the church does not promote a specific faith as scripture, it does with an assertive effort strive to convert atheists, for the main argument of the un-believers is regarding the evidence and how they believe that it does not support a belief in a God.  And so, it is the duty of the church leaders to take the steps to calmly argue with those atheists who may be open minded enough to make an honest effort to hear our proposals.
Proposals based fundamentally in evidence, described by theory.     GOD THEORY

Twenty two :   One of the founding beliefs of the church, is that God as presented in scripture doesn't need or demand our worship, God asks us to obey.   To obey as children should obey their parent. And it is the bulk of scripture, which serves as the arguments for why individuals should obey.
As should be obvious, if an individual lives a life of evil or sin, then no amount of worship and prayer can make up for it.  The only way to make up for sins is by serious repentance and acts of charity and love.   Acts which may improve a souls overall quality of being, by literally living and being as a godly person.

Twenty three :   One of the founding beliefs of the church is that while it is acceptable to worship God, it is not enough!   We as human beings should make it our daily effort to be Godly, to be like Jesus, and build God's kingdom now, in our lifetime.   Why wait?    Calm, rational, adult thinking gives humankind a potential limited only by our imagination.    If we can honestly see ourselves doing it, then we probably can.

Twenty four : We believe that each of us as God's children is endowed with rights between ourselves, and are subject to only one law, the law of God, which is the law of Love. Love is the Law, and the Law is for all.  To love God with all our heart and soul, and to love each other, as we would love ourselves, for we are all little pieces of God manifested into these bodies of flesh. The fullfillment of this law, is found by following the "Do unto others, as we would have them do unto us." principles, as put forth by Jesus and the many prophets.  Failure to show love, is therefore considered a violation of the Law, and all scriptural refrences to violence is henceforth limited to resistance against evil forces as needed when there is no other choice.  We as godly children in service to the lord, can only lawfully wage LOVE, not war.

Twenty five :   While it is true that all Churches, and or Mosques, or Temples or bases built and considered EMPIRICAL shall be centered around a throne for Jesus Christ, it does not mean people are forced to believe in him or anything, and that it is simply that a comparitive analysis of all religious figures shows Jesus to be the most ideal and squeaky clean and positive role model for humans to follow and seek to emulate, and since major doctrines say it is Jesus who will return to judge the world, it therefore makes sense to allow Jesus to hold that high place in our lives and minds and hearts, not only because he deserves that position, but because we want to be on his side if he should return, or when we meet him at the gates of heaven.

Twenty six : We recognize all humanity as being the children of the creator of the universe and therefore can say we are all, as humans, literally the family of God our father in heaven.

Twenty seven :   We therefore as the children of God (the creator of the universe), should likewise ACT AS FAMILY, and share and care for each other in large numbers just like an actual family would do. We care for each other because we can, and because we know we should.

Romans 15:1 "We then that are strong aught to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves."

This is the motto of the super hero, which does so, not because he has too, but because it is right to do so, and he can do so.  We, all have the potential to be that super hero if we work together and focus on being exactly that.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

THESE 27 PRINCIPLES MAY BE ADOPTED BY ANY RELIGIOUS GROUP, without restriction.

HOWEVER, TO BE CONSIDERED AS MEMBERS OF THE EMPIRICAL ORDER OF GOD'S CHILDREN, any said group or person must also adopt and adhere to the following four agreements..    Failure to meet these AGREEMENTS will mean immediate excommunication, and potentially things more extreme.

THE EMPIRICAL ORDER OF GOD'S CHILDREN :

1)   All leadership ranking members employed by the Church, Order, or any of it's affiliated groups are limited to their nations standard minimum wage, salaried at forty hours a week, and each member must donate 50% of their minimum wage salary back to the organization without exception when living in mandatory church provided housing, and no Church, Order, or affiliated group funds may be used to fund legal or otherwise any accounts for private homes or any form of private property for any ranking member of leadership in any church, any Order location, or any affiliated group location.  All leadership ranking members must reside in Church provided housing and live within the same facilities they maintain.   Put another way, all ranking leadership of the Empirical Church or Order take a vow of relative poverty, which does not mean abject poverty, but only means modest living, and dedicating our lives to helping others instead of growing personal wealth.

2)  All Empirical locations, must follow Empirical Order funding, expansion programs and procedures to develop their work and charitable efforts to the maximum of their ability, and begin providing the needed local social services to the homeless, as well as religious social services for all of their community.

3)  All Empirical locations, must allow for Empirical Order inspections of all records and must follow the  50 / 50  division procedures for the distribution of raised funds.  Fifty percent of all raised funds by any branch location is donated to the Empirical Order to fund it's long term OPERATIONS.  The other 50% raised must be used to fund preset EMPIRICAL ORDER based planning operations for said location.

4)  All allotted  funds (50% ) must be retained for the expansion of the local religious center only, and all EMPIRICAL branches are forbidden from starting their own   MISSIONS.
